Troy Tulowitzki Triple Trick

Troy Tulowitzki, the 2nd year PHENOM shortstop of the Colorado Rockies out of Long Beach State turned the very rare unassisted triple play in the top of the 7th inning today. It went down like this ya'll: The Atlanta Braves' Chipper Jones lined out to Tulowitzki (out number 1) and with the runners on first and second running with the pitch, Tulowitzki tagged second to retire the immortal Kelly Johnson (out number 2) then the former Red Sox great, shortstop Edgar Renteria was tagged out feet away from second base (out number 3). It was the 13th unassisted triple play in the history of the game, and Tulowitzki is the coolest guy to do it since John Valentin did it for the Red Sox against the Seattle Mariners in 1994 (sorry Furcal, you are not cool enough).

In my expert analysis Tulowitzki is clearly the greatest Polish Baseball player since Carl Yastrzemski. And will become the career leader in most batting categories in no time.

Sadly, however, the numbering for this unassisted triple play is 666, which also means something.
